I have now good reason to believe that Hæll is freezing cold (hall/hell geddit? oh never mind), and I'm sure all those good people out there that took the Higher Chinese Mid-Year Commont Test would unanimously agree with me, after sitting in that Hell Hall for four hours. That is, unless you b(r)ought your Raffles Hoodie (which actually doesn't even provide a great amount of insulation). This might be one of those times when I regret not buying it, seeing that I'm now trying to recover from... hypothermia, brrrr.

A freezing Hæll results in mental frostbite, and as a result you think slower when your neural pathways frost over. Concurrently, your limbs start to exhibit signs of freezing over, and the nerves in your fingers start to lose the capability to feel the pen you're holding. 结果, you fail your HChinese Mid-Year Commont Test paper due to a combination of the frigid conditions and having spent one and a half hours typing out the Mononoke Hime Medley 1st Bb Clarinet score, which according to Jerald/Russell had to be copied out today but in the end we had no concert practice today because too few people came early on due to third language, the massive truckload of projects and the like. When you finally thaw out in the (what, ten minute?) break between Papers I and II, you realize that you can now think much faster than fifteen minutes ago... except that you've got to go in and endure another two hours of ice water in your veins.

So now we know where the demonic influence of HChinese comes from, eh?

Oh, but I think I can expect to pass the Commont Test (no spelling error btw, that's what it said on BOTH papers). It wasn't okay per se, but it was ok-okay in the sense that there were no astonishingly difficult hard bits. Okay? Okay.

Except for the fact that I thought I misinterpreted the 公函 part when in actual fact I didn't... sheesh. But since this is a public platform, and I can't reveal anything about the Commont Test, I'll remain silent about the rest of it.
