To celebrate The End Of PW, we decided to have a party!

As parties go, this one was organized in a great hurry (i.e. the day before at "class lunch" at the top of Junction 8) but as parties go, it was a go-there-do-anything sort. Many thanks to Justin and other organizers, as well as Abhinav and his family for tolerating us.

So, in the morning, after getting frustrated at my ultimately lousy computer, I was just about to leave for Abhinav's house, when...

Yes, there was class lunch before class party which I didn't know about, and I spent three quarters of an hour travelling to Orchard MRT (after getting off a 174 five stops early because I thought I saw the MRT sign, then realizing it wasn't, then waiting for the next 174 ) and another fine half an hour figuring out where this place called Lido was.

After taking shelter amidst the heavy rain near ION Orchard, I was scanning the skyline of the surrounding buildings to find out where this Lido place was. After wandering around aimlessly for a bit, and somehow managing to come back to the same spot, I asked a security guard and found out that Lido wasn't a building...

... it was a theatre.

So much for my general knowledge. Anyway, managed to find everyone at long last; sorry for making everyone have to wait for me. The eateries at Lido were mainly fast foods, so I still had stuff to eat.

Next stop, Abhinav's house.

Second time I've been here. The first was because of PW, and it was much much earlier in the year, when Yuen Kei was still in class. Speaking of her, she came today! Good to see her again, after such a long communications gap.

Here today was about 80% of the class (counting all those that were present even for a short time) - Abhinav, Marcus Pereria, Jinyu, Yuen Kei, Justin, Stuti, Jenny, Russell, Leonard, Marcus Koe, Kern Choong, Shi Ping, Xue Wen, Yvonne, Aldric, Gabriel, Xiangyu, Isaac, Joan and Prasheen.

Gosh I'm counting our class by PW group now -_-.

The pictures can tell the rest of the day. We had a good time with cards, mahjong (which made my bag really heavy), XBox, carrom, TV (we watched The Devil Wears Prada, Lilo And Stitch, Princess Diaries II - and yes, all these were brought by Jinyu), and plenty of snacks and drinks, thanks to those who went down to buy.

Sometime during the day I got an SMS from (horror of horrors) a sender called RIJC. The first thing I thought was OMGOMG H3 APPLICATION RESULTS OMGOMG but then it turned out to say this:

Fr RIJC: Dear student, the MOE H3 offers will be released at noon on Fri, 13 Nov via link "MOE H3 Offers" in Raffles Connect. Do not reply to this SMS.

False alarm.

I guess we were having such a great time that we all forgot about dinner until about 8+, then the pizza came at nearly 10. Great pizza though!

We should have class parties more often XD.
