POP LOH, again.

4 months as a recruit, 5 months as a specialist cadet.

It's been a long time since my BMT sergeants kept using the phrase commanders-to-be to scold us. It's been many months since then, and finally it's time to pass out with their rank.

In BMT, life really sucked. I made friends through those tough Taurus times.

In BMT, being a commander seemed like the life to have, what with the narrow exposure we had to army. I didn't expect to pass my IPPT. Somehow, it happened, two weeks before graduating. Then I got posted as a specialist cadet.

In SCS for foundation term, a new breed of people appeared: enciks. Let's just call their styles unique. They changed my view of the SAF pretty wholesomely.

In SCS, I didn't really enjoy myself. But I made some good friends, had some good times.

In Signals Institute, I had the opportunity to exploit my forte. Life there was fun, and the friends there were awesome. If there was something I had been meant to do in the army, this was it - band aside.

In Signals Institue, again, I don't know how it happened, but I got my Silver.

Back in SCS for CAT term and the graduation parade. I wouldn't recognize the person I was those nine and a half months ago.

Parade parade parade. Then the rank. Thanks to everyone who came down, especially parents, sergeants, school friends (didn't see you Ben Aw :/) and SCS buddy Him Kee :).

Got to shake hands with the Chief of Army too :O.

So, 3SG. New rank, new roles, new responsibilities.
